RECIPE: The Best Halloween Dessert is Dirt Pudding
Dirt Pudding is truly the best Halloween dessert. The combination of the soft, cold pudding with the crumbly Oreo cookies on stop is perfect. And, it helps that it's SO easy to make. I highly recommend making your dirt pudding in a martini glass to make it feel extra special.
Here's how I made it:
Ingredients:
- JELL-O Instant Chocolate Pudding
- Milk of choice (except soy), I used whole milk
- Oreos
- Candy of choice: gummy worms or candy corn are a great choice!
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, make the pudding mix per the directions on the box. Put the pudding in the fridge to set.
- While the pudding is setting, start removing the cream from the oreos. Once you have just the oreo cookies, add them to a ziplock bag and start crushing them with a rolling pin.
- Once the pudding has set (I'd give it at least 30 minutes), you can start assembling your dirt puddings! Grab your favorite vintage glass (I used my favorite Vintage Curved Stem Martini Glass for the extra drama!) and add pudding to about 3/4th full. Then, top the pudding with the crushed Oreos until the glass is almost full. Add your favorite candies on top and you're done!
